We have enjoyed our stay at Burney Cottage very much. It was very comfortable and quiet. Unlike a motel, the bed was as comfortable or more than our bed at home. It was very quiet with no noise to keep us awake at night and we appreciated that very much. It was a light and cheerful place to stay. We will be back soon. Thank you for everything. This cottage was my sanctuary away from home for over a year while I traveled back and forth every other week from San Diego to work in Burney. Cindy was a great hostess and landlord. She even brought over homemade chocolates and other surprises.The Burney area is beautiful with several gorgeous falls nearby, and the volcanic beauty of Lassen and Mount Shasta.I will miss my cozy cottage. Thank you for a wonderful stay…it’s a perfect home away from home after a great day of fly fishing at Baum Lake. I caught over 20 rainbow and brown trout with the largest at 19 inches. I will certainly recommend the Cottage to my many angling friends.

Our first visit to Burney Creek Cottage - don't think it will be our last! The house was decorated for Christmas and immediately felt like a home. Such a friendly town. Hope all of you who come after us enjoy it as much as we did.

Burney Creek cottage is the perfect place to stay while fishing all the amazing water near Burney, CA. After arriving I tried my fly rod in the creek right behind the house and caught my first fish of the trip within 10 minutes! The cottage is very comfortable and has a great feel to it. We used the barbeque in the backyard almost every night and the house is extremely well outfitted. I can't wait to come back and stay again next year. Paul from San Jose
